Synopsis: Set in Glasgow, tells the story of the romance between a working class reformed alcoholic, currently unemployed, and a middle class health visitor. They meet in the flat of one of her clients whose partner, an ex-junkie, is a member of the football team he runs.Synopsis: Joe Kavanagh is a reformed alcoholic who is unemployed and trying to run a failing soccer team. He begins a relationship with Sarah, a community health worker, but circumstances come between them.
